LLBR and its Reviewers

What is the LLBR?

The LLBR was created in March 2008 as a service to Lulu authors who were seeking out honest and positive reviews of their work.  In March 2009, the LLBR branched out to include authors of CreateSpace, Wordclay, and Outskirts Press.  Today, we proudly consider any self-published or small press book for review no matter who you published with. We also occasionally provide news and opinions  related to the print on demand industry as a whole.keypad

There is a distinct, private world within each of us, a private world I’ll dare to touch with my words.”

Dan Marvin is the author of Briefs for the Reading Room and Thomas Granger.  Embracing readers’ short attention span and the art of micro-fiction, his Briefs book is taking the bathroom readers to a whole new level of humor.  Dan also writes for Bluegrass Dog Magazine and has a background in technical writing.

First and foremost, thanks for creating and maintaining this site! Found it through The Creative Penn and definitely need to dig in more. I was looking over the founders and contributors and realized I was tracking a few of you already (I run NovelRank.com which tracks Amazon sales rank for free) when I added the top 500 Lulu books on Amazon to the database months ago (I published through Lulu as well). Those that didn’t exist previously I have now added at least 1 book to the database.
Oh, here are the links for you (to keep things simple):

    http://www.novelrank.com/title/misfit-mccabe-paperback

    Thanks again!

This looks like a useful and insightful site. Since you say “The LLBR was created over a year ago as a service to Lulu authors who were seeking out honest and positive reviews of their work. Today, the LLBR has branched out to include authors of CreateSpace, Wordclay, and Outskirts Press,” do you do reviews of IUniverse books? I am bringing a novel out with them in June and would like to know guidelines for submission, if you do reviews beyond the stated publishers.
    Sincerely yours,
    Annis Pratt

Thanks so much for getting back to me. Unfortunately, by the time by book was up and running in both paperback and ebook form, there was a post on “pick me” saying that as of June 11 no new queries would be received. Could you let me know, in the future, when you will be open to queries again?
    Sincerely yours,
    Annis Pratt
