Ooh! Ooh! Pick me, Mr. Kotter!

"What I Did On My Midlife Crisis Vacation" by Debbianne DeRose

Why?

1.) 'Cuz they're sayin' it's the new "Eat Pray Love", only funnier. Snarkier and wackier too, I daresay. Get in on the ground floor---it's likely to get big.

2.) Because I explore the woo-woo stuff (metaphysical, spiritual, paranormal, New Agey) that other people are curious about but don't necessarily have the means, the time or the gumption to do themselves. Live vicariously, why don't you.

3.) And mostly because you'll recognize your own foibles and epiphanies when they're mirrored back at you. We're all part of the same ginormous jello mold of consciousness.

Amazon page with summary and searchability: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0615526195/ref=as_li_tf_tl?ie=UTF8&tag=debbiannecom-20&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=0615526195

Hi ,

I am Victor Lee from Malaysia. I have recently published a book titled "Notes To My Older Self - A Young Man Questions The Values of His Misguided Generation" which I feel would be of interest to you. I would like to share it with you and would hope that you give me a review on Amazon.

It is a book about society's problems and the generation that I am in (twenty-somethings). I believe that the twenty-something years are the most important in one's life and it is important to start questioning life early. In this book, I wish to share with the reader the many challenges that my generation faces and how to overcome them.

I believe I would be able to share with the reader a perspective on parenting, intimate relationships, finding happiness and many other issues which affects our society.

I wouldn't want to waste your time if you are not interested. Therefore, do reply me if you would want a copy of the ENTIRE book. I would be more than happy to provide one for you in any format.

Would love to hear from you. Appreciate it.

I'm interested in participating in a review, an interview, giveaway, guest post or excerpt. My novel is contemporary woman's fiction/romance set in a school with special needs children.
After suddenly receiving custody of his five year old son, Ben must learn how to be a dad. That fact that he'd even fathered a child was news to him. Not only does this mean restructuring his sixty-hour work week and becoming responsible for another human being, but also Kyle has autism.
Enter the school system. Under the guidance (and bullying) of a gifted teacher, Ben and Kyle take tentative steps to becoming father and son.
Teacher Melanie Nicols sees Ben as a dead beat dad, but grudgingly comes to admire how he hangs in, determined to learn for his son’s sake. Her admiration grows to more as father and some come to rely on Melanie being a part of their lives.
I've worked in schools as a teacher, counselor and consultant for thirty years. My Master's and Doctorate degrees focussed on autism; I also have a son with an autism spectrum disorder. I'm a co-author of the Amazon bestseller The Official Autism 101 Manual (http://www.autism101manual.com/). Hundreds of my articles and responses to questions appear on All Experts.com (http://www.allexperts.com/ep/1010-78033/Autism/Dr-Sharon-Mitchell.htm) . I have delivered workshops and seminars to thousands participants including at national conferences.
I know that when parents, especially mother, receive the news that their child has autism, they spend countless hours researching the subject, usually at night, after an exhausting day. I wrote this book for such mothers - a light novel that still offers strategies and information on autism.

If you are interested in looking at the book, it's available in Kindle, PDf and a variety of other formats at http://www.smashwords.com/books/view/156913. Enter coupon code BE83C upon checkout so you will not incur any cost.

Thanks for your consideration,

REEL LIFE: A Novel, is a must read for anyone who has ever sneaked off to the movies in the middle of a workday (Jackie Townsend/Ripetta Press). The story examines the relationship between two sisters, their dysfunctional family, and a crossroads they face around the issues of motherhood and fertility. What's unique about the novel is that it filters the sisters' inner journeys through the prism of films that have marked each stage of their lives, from the false hope of The Wizard of Oz to the dark tones of Blue Velvet to the child-like magic of Shrek, as examples.

REEL LIFE will shock, surprise, and move anyone who understands that sometimes escaping reality offers the clearest path to emotional truth.
