    Shannon,
Wow – what a transformation of the site! It looks great.
You’ve come a long way in the last year – congratulations Shannon and thanks for your continued support of authors everywhere!

    Shannon,

Looks terrific. Good luck with the re-launch.

  4. Henry

This looks amazing! Congratulations. But…I’m jealous. Think it’s great for self-publishing that review sites are getting slicker and slicker. They’ll take us seriously yet.

The new site looks fabulous. Thanks for putting so much work into revamping it, and the one hundred and one things you do for LLBR on a daily basis. You have made it what it is today, a great resource for independant authors.

I’m just glad to be a part of the whole LL Book Review process. Many thanks to Shannon for his dedication to helping independent authors and always looking for ways to make it a better experience.

Congratulations on the new look. And thank you for all you do.

Shannon and LK, you both did so much work on the new site, it looks great! I’m excited to expand our reach and it’s great to have everything so well organized. I know that other self publishers will benefit from the tabs on self publishing and e publishing. I remember when I was first getting started on Briefs that I scoured through your diary, looking for tips and seeing how you’d done it. I’m proud to be part of the LLBR.

    Shannon,

The new website looks great! Looks like you put a lot of time and effort into it. This should be a very popular website. Good luck!

This transition (for lack of a better word) is a kind of proof that writing and books are not as yet…dead.
Someone has obviously, been very, very busy. Congratulations to all.

Shannon, I cannot tell you what a wonderful thing I think you are doing with this web site. Ever since you reviewed my book “Abandoned” (Review 37) I have been coming back to check out your other reviews at least once a month. This new site is great. As a thank you to you and your readers, I would like to extend an open invitation for anyone who wants to download my book “Eye of the Witch” the second of 5 books in a paranormal Detective mystery series. That link is http://www.DanaDonovan.com/eyeofthewitch.htm I will leave it open throughout the summer at least. Keep up the great work!

Thanks so much for your review of Tales of a Texas Boy.

I’m quite pleased that Lulu books are getting reviews. Despite the onus on self-publication, there really are some great books to be had through POD technology.

    Best Wishes,

    Shannon,

Congrats! to you personally and to your book reviews of substance spreading in the literary world. I can’t begin to count reviews by name-brand reviewers of books I’ve read which were so out of touch with what the book was actually about that I wondered if they’d actually read it. You, on the other hand, read carefully with intelligence and insight and (not the least of it) feeling. You deserve all good things. Go forward and multiply your good work.

    Cheers,

Congratulations Shannon! The site looks fabulous, crisp and professional, and will definitely attract a heap more attention. Thank you for all you do for self-published authors. You are a wonderful asset to have on side.

    Kind Regards,

Shannon did a great review of my book of cartoons, “Load of Cartoons”, for which I am really grateful.

The new site looks superb. I hope the venture goes from success to success!

  20. John Hine

The new site looks awesome, I was the first review and hope to be reviewed again. You guys have worked hard and I wish you nothing but the greatest success.

  21. Joe Perrone Jr.

I think you guys are doing a terrific job. This is a much needed site. I hope you’ll pick my submission (currently under consideration), As the Twig is Bent. I am having very good success on Amazon with it, especially in Kindle, which is selling about 1-2 copies per day, and was ranked as high as 10,000th about a week or so ago (currently 49,000). A positive review here would really go a long way toward pushing it up the list. Regardless, I am grateful for the review of my other novel, Escaping Innocence. Keep up the good work. I am 22 chapters into the follow-up to As the Twig is Bent, and anyone wishing to preview what I have so far may do so by Emailing me with a request to be put on my “readers” list.

    Shannon,

all the best with this new venture, and with all others involved. Your review of my book Separation was very helpful and uplifting when I first self-published on Lulu,

    thanks again,

Awesome new site, guys. It’s a bit more modern, what with all the “Web 2.0″ items that are popping up on the net! :) I mean, it’s not quite “Web 2.0″ but it is updated, professional and clean cut. I love it! And the colour red suits the site well.

Hope to see more soon! :D

The Site is a great idea. I can’t wait to see what comes of it!

  26. Matthew Scott Baker

Love the new site! This is much more pleasing to the eye and it seems more functional as well. Hard to combine functionality and aesthetics, but you guys did a great job! Welcome back!
