Julie’s Quick Picks for March
Great taster at the beginning to spur the reader into turning the page. Such mastery of words, painting glorious pictures. Observant too – with such lines as (about death) ‘…is a clumsy thing of the darkness…discovered in the dawn.’ Terrific. Mystery from the onset, this is a story of action and surprise.
Julie’s Quick Picks for February
What a fabulous analogy for the range of emotions that drive us humans. Loved the easy to follow style and the relationships to which we can all relate, this in addition to the realistic characters, it can only be a success.
Julie’s Quick Picks for January
Sapphire of the Fairies is certainly straight into the action! I liked the indirect thoughts behind characters, e..g. ‘…he didn’t stand for unregistered guests…’ thus, creating instant knowledge of who, what & where etc. – a particularly good way of giving the reader insight into the personality. I’m not sure if I ‘like’ the innkeeper but your style makes it easy to ‘know’ him. Good information without being boring. A prolific writer, as seen by the amount of work uploaded.

Words That Define Me by Antonio Bostic
I’m sure all of us can relate to such heartache throughout our lives some time or another.
Great rhythm and emotive words strung to make us think.
Julie’s Quick Picks for November
Sweet Serene by Robert Hedges
What a great start to what seems a fantastic story routed in the character Sunday. I liked the style and particularly liked the mystery.
A fabulous first book.
Julie’s Quick Picks for October
I first found Christopher’s work with The Essential Paradigm Shift:2006 and said:
An unusual and clever idea with great graphics and layout that I could imagine having a cult following…seems I was right, as by now (2009) this literary magazine is still going strong.
Julie’s Quick Picks for September
Obviously well-researched, factual yet interesting, intriguing and certainly enjoyable.

Julie’s Quick Picks for July 2009
For starters I loved the front cover and the map inside – very professional.
But more importantly…the story’s the thing after all.
Such wonderful writing, straight to point and the action. Instant empathy for Sheyna.
A jewel…full of magical promise.
Julie’s Quick Picks for June 2009
I was instantly hooked to the great mix of action and description all done in a snappy style, tone and form. Phrases like ‘hovering off the ground’ and ‘disappearing like a ghost’ set within the literal and figurative fog, gave instant insight into the main character in that they gave a sense of the mysterious, most especially the sentence, ‘This was just the way she liked it’.
