The Unicorn Constellation by Natasha Ashwe
I liked the style of writing at once, punchy and straight to the point, which brings the reader into the action, as if brought there by a runaway train. The building of characters seemed effortless and seamless, yet they were interesting and intriguing both at the same time – though I’m not sure it they were likeable…good in itself, willing the reader to want more.
Clever in its simplicity yet deeper than expected.

Mommy and me gluten-free by Sharon Feskanin
I know someone who suffers from gluten allergies and her life can be miserable if the wrong food is mistakenly ingested. Her whole kitchen has become a science lab, where her foods must be segregated from the rest, even down to the cutlery – a crisis even if the wrong knife is used.
This book would have immeasurable value for the sufferers of such problems and I can only admire the strength it took to bring something so positive into the world.
