Friday, Smashwords authors received a lengthy email from Smashwords CEO Mark Coker announcing that distribution through major retailers is in the works, “the first of which is Barnes & Noble and their various properties including Barnesandnoble.com, Fictionwise and their eReader app.”
Proper formatting and other elements will determine if books meet the criteria to be included in a Premium Catalog which will then be distributed to these retailers. There is no cost to authors to be included in this catalog.
