March 3rd: December Kindle sales posted to my account last night! December was $70.53.
Total money invested on this project to date (after book sales only): $146.42 (debt)
Profit made to date on this project after all sales and services: $370.71
If I don’t invest any more money in marketing over the next two months, then the next two Kindle deposits will wipe out my debt on this project and I will be out of the red!
March 11th: I took advantage of Lulu’s bulk discount this week and ordered 10 more copies of my book. They were packed well and arrived in perfect condition. I had given away my last copy over the weekend to a friend who was in town, so I was completely out of copies except for the original proof copy with the old cover from way back when which is still on my book shelf.
I checked Kindle sales this morning and as of today I’m even with as much as I made for the entire month of February. So, just one more sale will now make March my best month ever. And it’s only the 11th. Seven more sales and I’ll clear 100 bucks for the first time!
In recognition of Read an Ebook Week this week, I uploaded a free Ebook version of the book to Lulu.
I have also uploaded the book to Smashwords for just $3.99. I like this website because it offers the Ebook in 9 different formats. It’s discounted this week for Read an Ebook Week as well.
