March 15th: The Free Ebook version was a flop and I took it down this morning since Ebook Week is now officially over, but I continued to sell copies on the Amazon Kindle this week. March sales have now passed February to make this my best month ever, exceeding $100, and the month is only half over. That’ll be a nice paycheck in May.
I also received another 5 star review from reader Linda Welch on Amazon over the weekend. Thank you, Linda.
In other news, My Deluxe POD Pocket Guide to Marketing & Selling Your Book on Amazon has now loaded on Amazon but is listed as “out of print.” After emailing Lulu, they say it’s because Amazon is still receiving feeds from them and that the book information hasn’t loaded completely yet. We’ll see how long it takes for it to become available. I would like to point out that it took less than 3 weeks for STEALING WISHES to become available on Amazon; it’s now taken almost 8 weeks for the POD Pocket Guide to become available and it’s “out of print.” I published the guide for free under Lulu as the publisher. I wonder if that has anything to do with it.
I also posted a discussion in a forum on Amazon offering 5 free copies to readers in exchange for a review. I’ve gotten 2 hits from that so far. The only investment on my part is the price of the book, but hopefully it’ll be worth it if I land a decent review out of it.
