We are pleased to announce that Dan Marvin, author of Briefs for the Reading Room, joins the LLBR review team this month.
In December, we posted an ad requesting the assistance of another reviewer who could help by covering the action, politics, military, fantasy, sports, and other more modern genres that we felt were missing among the reviews in 2008.
Dan answered our call, and after reading his work (see Review 52), we knew his writing style and sense of humor was exactly what we were looking for.
Dan lives in Kentucky with his wife, daughter, son, dog, horses, and a rambling cat. He is the author of three books through Lulu.com.

I’ve really enjoyed getting to know LK and Shannon here at the book review, they’re good people. I know they encouraged me on Briefs for the Reading Room and we all share a desire to give back to the POD community.
We all know that writing is an inherently solitary pursuit, but having a network of other authors from whom to learn and get feedback and just vent a little is a great resource. I look forward to reading many great books this year and sharing them with all of you.
